1. back from the dr. beaches lovely. airport scary. j perfectly healthy. d hit hard by hispianola microbes. but of course.
2. georgsica are done. they will slip me a mickey, I mean, a copy of the carol ann and the fantastic stand (official project name, hereafter referred to as OPN) version of tuesday night at the sb party. I cannot wait. I say wait with a v instead of a w. as in, I cannot vait. little known fact: whenever I am filled with mega anticipation I start sounding like natasha from rocky & bullwinkle.
3. eric is done. the botany bay (OPN) version of niv is beautiful. shimmery & full of harmonies to make one swoon. he's also taken the lyrical content & run with it. to another country. perhaps albania. & turned it into another animal. or rather, an animal that has a distinctly different story to tell than the original. one that involves anomie & nostalgia.
4. I heard the preliminary version of mig recorded by jared & steph (no OPN as of yet) to be finalized on thursday. two words. "witch rock". can I add a few others? how about "spooky as all get out" & "I want my blankie"?
5. kristie & george are almost done. the g love & special k (OPN) version will be handed off on saturday after...
6. ...the plus ones get their act together & show they can put on a show a la judy & mickey & record on saturday morn. thank you dana.

8. to steal le trav's new moniker for b, b-brux will cry like a little british schoolboy that's made to wear dresses until he's 10.
