despite the best efforts of undercover brothah mary, kill the messenger was not attained. b doesn't have it. damn it! on the plus side workhorse tina & housemate j will kindly record a demo of it to pass off to kristie corp. thank ye.
dan w superstar has expressed interest in participation. please send encouragement. I would love to hear his death metal/screamo/crunk/slack key rendition of whatever he chooses to do.
thanks again to mary's comments regarding cd sleeve extras, my new daydreams of a photo collage/sleeve/liner notes to include in b's copy (alas, too expensive for all) are becoming more & more lavish a la mgm musicals of the 40's. feel free to comment on thoughts about photo ideas/liner notes. no matter how ridiculous. it never hurts to dream ridiculous things.
speaking of sleeve notes & ridiculous things, I have confronted heather k with my desire for her to do a portrait of b for the cover in which ever style tickles her fancy. I hope she says yes, that big tease.
36 was worked on by team scarlet fever school last night. undermined by my inability to shake an egg to the beat & stay in tune. damn tempo & pitch! fear of failure will win out in the end. da dirty's bongo accompaniment is excellent, natch (his musical abilities are criminally ignored, in my opinion). anywho, j feels a chorus of d's providing harmonies in a slack jazz-samba way is a good way to go. you've been forewarned.
please send me updates on your work becuz I get lonely & stuff.

the band who likes darts will be practicing crawl tonight and hopefully making more headway. i think you can find a load of old pictures from the archives of mr. birthday's site...if you know what i mean. how is recording happening? are we all doing it four-track or what is the deal with SB? details?!
ok. I love you but I need more from you. namely a name. is this tiny marx or money marx (though mickey marx is a good one too) or petulia marx? hmmm? it's much too early for these guessing games! (SOB) I hurt all over & I want my bed back!
I thought there was nothing available anywhere. as far as sb is concerned that would have to happen at the last minute (due to la traviata's doorsiness) in feb, to the tune of $200 bucks for a day's work. which would be awesome IF more people decide to use it. as it is people seem to want to stick to the 4 track. j has offered his 4-track for any & all recordings.
if this is tiny marx, would you be available for a short session come thurday or friday?
